The Higher Degree Research Office (HDRO) is the contact point for research degree enrolment at Macquarie University. HDRO manages research degree candidature and scholarship applications, admissions, enrolment, progression, thesis submission and degree completion. Our aim is to provide excellent service and specialised knowledge of Macquarie's research training activities to commencing and continuing candidates and to staff.

Applicants for research degrees are expected to investigate the appropriate Faculty research areas and Department websites and contact potential staff supervisors in their areas of interest prior to completing their application.
