Cotutelles
As part of its internationalisation strategy, Macquarie University actively promotes joint PhD enrolment (known as “Cotutelle” in French) with world's leading research active universities.
Simultaneous enrolment at Macquarie University and one of our partner universities will enable students to submit one thesis for joint recognition. About half of the student’s time will be spent at each university and travel funds are provided. Students will be supervised by researchers at the two universities and meet all the requirements to graduate at both of them.
